Our Mission
MacArthur Park Charter School offers a collaborative STEAM based learning environment that emphasizes individual student growth to better not only their lives but our communities as a whole. As an environment of educational innovation, the central purpose of MPCS is to increase students' interest in science, technology, engineering, the arts, and mathematics (STEAM) to better prepare them for higher education and jobs in our increasingly technical economy. MPCS further seeks a learning environment where families are connected, welcome, and engaged through partnerships with community members and local organizations. By fostering a global perspective that teaches the interconnectedness of communities and their environments, the MPCS program instills mutual respect, civic responsibility, and a lifelong love of learning.
